Nice beer garden on the Ruhr.

Food and drinks at reasonable prices. Sit outside and enjoy the weather. The only ferry crosses the Ruhr a few meters away. Simply donate an amount and transfer it to the other bank. A great landscape.

Very nice location. A somewhat limited menu due to Corona. You cannot drive to the pub by car. The walk is about 10 minutes.

Very nice beer garden with self-service and very fair prices. We highly recommend the vegetarian tarte flambée with spinach, or the homemade cake (very large pieces - great!). There are both sun and shade spots under a large tree. Directly opposite is the castle ruin Hardenstein, which can be reached by a small ferry. In summer it is nice to take a little break there.

Great self-service beer garden in a fantastic location opposite the Hardenstein castle ruins (shuttle ferry for pedestrians and cyclists runs until 7 p.m. in the season against donations). Very fair prices. Sun and shade places available. (Almost) another insider tip.

One sits very nicely outside at the tables and can watch the "swallow" from time to time as she drives through the lock. For the physical well-being there is the possibility to provide with grilled and salad. The drinks are also available in variety.
